On Saturday morning Worcester Police responded to 60 Foster street for a man threatening to stab bus drivers and light them on fire.
Upon arrival officers located the man crouched down behind some shrubs. The man was given verbal commands by officers to come out but refused.
A K-9 officer was called to assist, the man continued to ignore verbal commands given by officers so a police dog, Beebs was deployed to apprehend the man.
Officers were able to remove the man from the shrubs and he was taken into custody.
Beebs was stabbed by the man multiple times and had to be taken to a local animal hospital and was released.
